On June 27, 2015, Charity Lodge No. 18 of Jaffrey was pleased to host a joint Veterans Program with Bethel-Souhegan Lodge No 24.
Present at the program, were our Grand Master Most Worshipful Brother John Gordon and his lady Connie. In addition were the Deputy Grand Master, Sr. Grand Warden, Grand Marshal, and the DDGM, DDGL, and DEO of District 3.
The Master of Charity Lodge, Worshipful Brother Tom Rittenhouse presented a 25-year pin to newly affiliated Pennsylvania mason Brother David Soroka. Bro. Soroka is now serving as Junior Deacon of Charity Lodge.
He also presented a 40 year pin to Brother Bruce Hall whom the Master exclaimed he had never met before and was glad he could be there.
The Grand Master surprised Brother Walter Young with the Major General John Sullivan Award in Bronze. An award, which the brethren of his lodge felt he strongly deserved as a result of all the support, he has given to his lodge and Masonry.
The Master of Bethel-Souhegan, Worshipful Brother Eric Sennot, presented a 40-year pin to Right Worshipful Brother Charles Montalbano. He is an affiliated member of Bethel-Souhegan lodge and a Past District Deputy Grand Master from the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts.
The Grand Master then presented. Worshipful Brother Robert Taft with his 60-year certificate.
