The members of Cheshire-Mt Vernon Lodge No. 23, along with several visitors welcomed a new Fellow Craft to to their Lodge, Brother Ben Hawkins on Saturday, December 8th. Brother Hawkins is the grandson of Brother Frank Hawkins, who sadly passed away soon after his grandson became an Entered Apprentice. One of the proudest moments in Brother Frank Hawkins’ Masonic career was signing his grandson’s petition, he was a 57 year Mason.

The Lodge also presented two Brothers with honorary membership for their tireless and dedicated help, not only to Cheshire-Mt Vernon Lodge but to Freemasonry. Brother John Hall and Worshipful Brother Michael Huse, both members of Hiram Lodge #9 in Claremont, were very surprised to be recognized and receive this honor.
