Worshipful Master Jeremy W. Allin is serving his second year in that capacity. The other Officers moved up one station with the exception of Brother Robert Herman who is remaining as Chaplain. Brother Mark Blodgett assumed the duties of the West and Brother Robert Paradis in the South. Recent members Brother Philip Beiner is the new Senior Deacon, Brother Wesley Cookson in the new Junior Deacon with one of our newest Members, Brother Derek Myers as Senior Steward.
Yours truly has been appointed as the first Master of Ceremonies of the Lodge in a number of years, a position I have never had the privilege of doing previously. It will be my job to act as Director of the Work when requested, and to assist the Master with any other duties he may need. I hope this will not only give us an opportunity to properly train the new Officers, but give us uniformity in performance.
Pictured are most of the Officers who were installed on the occasion.

On February 14th The Winnipesaukee Masons held their monthly meeting with Guest Speaker Alton Police Chief Ryan Heath. There were approximately 30 couples with 75 people in attendance.
The evening started with a prayer and a Prime Rib dinner with all the fixings. After the meal the group went upstairs and Chief Heath discussed with the group information on Home safety, Firearms safety, and motor vehicle safety. Heath advised the group that everyone should lock their homes and motor vehicles. He advised Burglary’s and theft’s are up because of the economy and offered several suggestions on how to protect your property. The Chief also provided the group with informational hand outs and locks to secure firearms. The Chief then had a question and answer session. The group then retired to the dining area where the kitchen staff had prepared apple crisp and ice cream. For more information about the Winnipesaukee Masons visit www.winnipesaukeemasons.com

On December 15 and 16th Franklin Lodge #6 open our doors to the communities of the Upper Valley. Several brothers spent hours decorating the hall into a festive wonderland. The fans of Santa was greeted at the door by members of the lodge to the the sight of a 8 foot tree fully decorated with a model training running around the tree. They were then entered into the lodge room fully decorated with trees model villages and lights and plenty of garland. When they arrived in the East they were greeted by Santa and Mrs Claus.
They youngsters had their picture taken with the jolly old man and received a gift from him. The y would then view the room and on their way out they were offered hot chocolate with goodies. On Saturday the 15th we entertained about 30 young children with their parents and family. On Saturday the 16th with a storm in the area we felt if we got 15 kids we would consider it a winner., Little did we know that around 100 people would show up to enjoy the beauty and fellowship. The lodge received several compliments and a desire for us to do it again in 2013. The Brothers of Franklin Lodge are brainstorming how to improve and also enlarge the program. There is even talk of a Christmas table lodge. Stay tuned for further information and the happenings of Franklin Lodge #6 in Lebanon NH.
