Wednesday, September 6, 2017, Wolfeboro, NH: On a late summer evening, members of Morning Star Lodge No. 17 gathered to honor their Masonic Veterans. The evening began with a delightful dinner served to approximately 40 visitors. We then convened in the Lodge Room where the Master, Worshipful Brother Todd Fichter welcomed Most Worshipful Brother John E. Lobdell and his suite. Following brief comments, the Master handed the gavel to our Grand Master to recognize the veterans.
Our Grand Master presented Brother Roger L. Williams with his 60-Year Certificate. This was a special moment, as Brother Williams reminded the audience that participated in Raising our Grand Master in Morning Star Lodge.
Prior to closing, our Grand Master then surprised Brother C. Stuart Shannon with the Major General John Sullivan Distinguished Service Medal for his many years supporting the Lodge.
Congratulations to these distinguished brethren, and to Morning Star Lodge on a great event!
