On Sunday, March 1st, at 1:00 p.m., North Star Lodge No. 8 sponsored a luncheon for the Brethren and invited guests which was catered by members of Olive Branch Chapter No. 1, Order of the Eastern Star of Lancaster, N.H.
The Lodge was opened at 1:30 p.m. and called to refreshment. At 2:00 p.m., all in attendance were invited into the Lodge Room to witness the semi-public Installation of Officers.
The Worshipful Master, Worshipful Brother Jeremy W. Allin, assumed the Oriental Chair to give his thanks to the brethren for all the support given the Lodge under his administration. He then introduced Right Worshipful Brother David A. Rich, District Deputy Grand Lecturer of the 8th Masonic District, to assume the duties of Installing Officer; who with the assistance of Worshipful Brother John A. Loven, Master of Gorham-Sabatis Lodge No. 73. as Installing Chaplain and Right Worshipful Brother Dennis A. Sheridan, PDDGM as Installing Marshal, proceeded with the Installation.
Brother Robert J. Paradis was escorted to the East and Installed as Worshipful Master of North Star Lodge No. 8. This was his first time in the Oriental Chair. All other Officers were installed in due form with a good turnout of family and friends present. It is always nice to see so many visitors for this annual occasion.
Worshipful Brother Allin was installed as Tyler that afternoon, and jokingly told he had to go through the Line again for the second time.
Included is a picture of the brethren present with the exception of one Officer who had to leave early to go to his place of employment. Worshipful Brother Paradis could not find a top hat his size, but did find a hat to utilize for the picture.
