Brother Roy Newton, a member of Gorham-Sabatis Lodge No. 73 in Gorham, had a passion for supporting and giving to Toys for Tots. Since his father’s passing in 2013, Brother Scott Newton also a member of Gorham-Sabatis, has endeavored to keep his legacy alive by his diligent work in contributing to Toys for Tots.
Earlier this year Scott proposed that his ATV club, Presidential ATV Club, run a toy drive in support of their effort. A few weeks ago the club asked Scott to chair this toy drive. Brother Newton reached out to his Lodge for their help and his Brothers answered the call. On Saturday, October 27th, the club, assisted by the Brothers of Gorham-Sabatis Lodge, had their first ever ATV toy drive from Gorham to Berlin.
Thank you so much for acknowledging Scott Newton for his work on Toys for Tots this weekend. He is passionate About anything he does…like his Father, Roy Newton. He is beyond happy for the success of the toy drive and all the ATV’s that showed up for the ride. He just called me to tell me about your letter. I am so proud of him! Sincerely, his Mother,,,,,Mary E Newton
Scott, thanks to you and your brothers for teaming up with the Presidential OHRV Club. We anticipate to support more of your endeavors. Glad to be part of something good for the community. There’s a good feeling about paying forward.

A big thank you to Scott and Gorham-Sabatis for teaming up with the ATV club for a great community cause! The support shown by those who rode speaks volumes about the kindness and spirit here in the ATV community and beyond! Keep up the good work and think about all the little smiling faces this cause will create this Christmas!!!! Dave Rich PM, DDGM 8th Masonic District.
