This picture was taken on the Fourth of July, 2011, but was lost in the mysteries of the digital camera until a couple of weeks ago, and it is just too good not to share, as an example of how to find time to learn a lesson.
As North Star Lodge No. 8 assembled (by dispensation of the Grand Master) to participate in the Independence Day parade in Lancaster, we had some time to wait. Our Worshipful Master, Brother Dennis Sheridan, and Joshua Towle, then our youngest
Fellowcraft, found a space in the shade to work on his lesson.
We are taught that the attentive ear receives the sound from the instructive tongue, and I do not know if I have ever seen a better example of this.
We can also observe that even in the midst of a busy day, a few minutes can be found and put to good use. This is two lessons learned here. Thank you, Dennis.
