On a beautiful December afternoon in Keene, two Lodges came together to celebrate their Masonic Veterans. The event was hosted by Worshipful William Larson from Jerusalem Lodge No. 104 and was joined by Worshipful Clifford Oster and members of St. Paul’s Lodge No. 30 of Langdon. Most Worshipful Brother John F. Gordon presented fifty and sixty year certificates and a Major General John Sullivan Distinguished Service Medal.
Most Worshipful Brother Gordon presented a fifty year certificate to Brother Rainer P. Ellis. Brother Ellis was raised in Jerusalem Lodge and moved out of state shortly thereafter. Today’s event was the first time in 50 years that he was able to return to his home Lodge!
Most Worshipful Brother Gordon presented a fifty year certificate to Brother Frank J. Collins. Brother Collins from Jerusalem Lodge was born overseas and came to the United States in 1952.
Most Worshipful Brother Gordon presented a sixty year certificate to Brother Chris J. Booras. Brother Booras was raised in Jerusalem Lodge and has lived in the Keene area for most of his life.
Most Worshipful Brother Gordon culminated the day by presenting Brother Ralph W. Nichols with the Major General John Sullivan Distinguished Service Medal.
Congratulations to all the honorees of Jerusalem Lodge and St Paul’s Lodge on a delightful program.
