Ancient York Lodge takes pride in our endeavor to enhance Masonic discourse by bringing unique speakers and scholars to our jurisdiction. By bringing Masons of many Lodges together, it is our aim to strengthen our tie to our Fraternity through the discussion of the unique perspectives that these speakers offer.
Keynote Speaker:
W ∴ Bro. Mark A. Tabbert, 33º
Bro. Tabbert is currently the Director of Collections for the George Washington Masonic National Memorial, overseeing the library, archives and museum. He is a President Emeritus of the Masonic Library and Museum Association, a member of the Board of Directors of the Masonic Restoration Foundation and Fellow and a former Director of The Masonic Society. From 1999 to 2005, Bro. Tabbert was Curator of Masonic and Fraternal Collections at the Scottish Rite National Heritage Museum in Lexington, MA.
Brother Tabbert is also an accomplished Masonic author, with works including “American Freemasons: Three Centuries of Building Communities”, “Museum and Memorial: Ten Years of Masonic Writings” and with William D. Moore, “Secret Societies in America: Foundational Studies of Fraternalism.”
Bro. Tabbert is Past Master of Russell Lodge and Mystic Valley Lodge of Arlington, MA and holds memberships, both full and honorary in multiple Masonic bodies.

Bro. Jason Richards
Bro. Jason Richards is the Senior Warden of Acacia Lodge No. 16 in Clifton, Virginia, and a member of Fauquier Royal Arch Chapter No. 25 in Fairfax, Virginia. He is also the Junior Deacon of Perfect Ashlar Council No. 349, Allied Masonic Degrees. He is the sole author of the Masonic weblog The 2-Foot Ruler: Masonry in Plain Language, a regular contributor to the Midnight Freemasons blog, and is a co-host on the weekly YouTube show and podcast The Masonic Roundtable. He lives in Virginia with his wife, cats, and ever-expanding collection of bow ties.

Bro. Busby is the current Worshipful Master of Ancient York Lodge No. 89. He is a 32º Scottish Rite Mason and Royal Arch Mason. Bro. Busby is also a member of Rising Sun Lodge No. 39, was the founding chaplain of Phoenix Lodge No. 105, and is Tyler of John Harris Council No. 458, Allied Masonic Degrees.
This Is A Tiled Master Mason Lodge Event; Agape Banquet To Directly Follow With Social Hour. A Special Musical Performance Is Also Slated To Occur.
